Hostel for budget travellers 20k the dorm 50-60k the private. Good price! But the reception man is terrible! Rude all the time (Really terrible!) and not helpful at all. It is not all the reception, they also have a guy from argentina that is really cool! Go there if you only wanna sleep.
We spent one night here and this is what we found:
+ well located: in el poblado, best area in Medellín; there are many supermarkets, restaurants, huge shopping centres in the same street.
+ new and clean bathroom
+ there is a kitchen you can use and a garden where you can smoke and meet people.
+ cheap
+ private bathroom
- the bedroom smelled weird
- the wifi didnt work in our bedroom so we had to use it in the kitchen.
If you are not too special, it is ok for one night. The area feels safe.
Stayed one night here after a DJ gig. all really near indeed, entrance a bit strange but the owner was freindly with me (maybe because I spoke Spanish???) I had to pay 2000 for a towel and the room was indeed humid and dampy, it was full of dirty clothes and party people wahahahaha! I slept on a top bed and it had curtains butttt they were not positioned properly, that's why the whole tube and curtain fell of several times.... matras was hard, pillow to small. Anyway I had a good sleep and went away quite early. everywhere in the building there were signs of people constructing stuff... in the patio and downstairs in the hallway... indeed for a quick bed it's a nice place i payed 15.000 through booking.com so very cheap aswel....
